WAYNE FIELDS

Wayne Fields (Eric Steinberg) is Emily's father, currently stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. At the start of the series, he was stationed in Afghanistan. While he was home on leave, Emily came out to him and he met Maya for the first time. He was at first against Emily and Maya's relationship, but he never stopped loving Emily and tolerated it for her sake. He also seemed to have taken a liking to Maya more than Emily's mother. After a few weeks, he got called back to active duty. Pam will join him in Texas and Emily will join them after she finishes the semester at Rosewood High.
