Darren Wilden (Bryce Johnson) was the detective investigating Ali's murder, who continually questions the girls and takes advantage of Hanna's mother. He leaves the case when Veronica Hastings finds him question the four girls, who are all minors, without an adult present, and threatens to get him kicked of the force.
